The App Store listing describes encrypted vaults on your device and optional encrypted iCloud backup. Detailed architecture and test documentation are still being prepared; this page is not a certification or independent audit.
What a pattern cannot guarantee
A memorable pattern has limited entropy. Its visual complexity is not the same as a random cryptographic key. Protection depends on the whole system, its implementation and the state of the iPhone.
Recovery and backups
Keep your 24 recovery words separately and wait for backup confirmation. Words alone cannot restore files after uninstalling without a saved copy. Losing a phone without a backup can mean losing data.
Limits to understand
A compromised device or previously exported content falls outside what a lock screen alone can guarantee. We do not promise that forensic analysis cannot reveal vaults, or that flash storage can be physically erased with certainty.
