GuardVault is published by Dealing With, SIREN 890 713 191. These terms describe the service. Apple’s standard license agreement applies to App Store distribution, without reducing mandatory consumer rights.
Vaults and access
GuardVault stores encrypted files on iPhone, with separate vault patterns. Keep your access secrets safe and import or share only content you may use. No GuardVault account is required. iCloud services require a compatible Apple account.
Free and Premium
The free tier allows 3 vaults and 100 photos, 10 videos and 50 documents per vault. Premium removes those count limits and enables the Premium features described in the app. Device and iCloud storage capacity still applies. Encrypted backup is free. Existing files remain readable and exportable after Premium expires.
Prices and introductions
Configured French prices are €1.99/week, €22.99/year and €44.99 for a lifetime purchase. The annual plan may include a 7-day trial if Apple confirms eligibility. A separate welcome introduction may cost €11.49 for the first year, then €22.99/year. Introductions in the same subscription group do not stack. Apple’s confirmation sheet determines applicable local price, taxes, duration and eligibility. This website does not sell subscriptions.
Renewal, cancellation and restoration
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in Apple settings before the stated deadline, generally at least 24 hours before renewal. Cancellation stops future renewal. Refund requests go through Apple, subject to applicable rights. Lifetime is a single purchase without renewal, not unlimited iCloud storage. Restoring purchases restores recognized rights for your Apple account; it does not restore vault files.
Backup and recovery
Recovery words are a key, not a copy of files. Recovery after uninstall needs a completed iCloud backup or encrypted archive kept outside GuardVault, plus the correct words. Vault files are excluded from ordinary iPhone backups. Keep an independent copy and verify restoration before deleting the app or originals. Automatic backup and sync operate while the vault is open; continuous background uploads are not guaranteed.
Sharing and duress
Sharing grants read-only access through an iCloud invitation and separate phrase. Revocation cannot erase exported, captured or retained copies. An explicitly configured duress pattern opens the designated vault and removes other local indexes and recovery mappings on that device. It does not delete cloud backups or other-device copies, or guarantee physical flash erasure.
Protection limits
Encryption cannot cover every risk, including compromised devices, disclosed secrets or unencrypted exports. Filesystem inspection may reveal vault existence and count. iOS cannot guarantee prevention of every screenshot. No independent security audit has been completed.
Availability and support
Apple, RevenueCat, network conditions and storage quotas affect online services. TestFlight availability does not mean public App Store release. Contact [email protected]. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer guarantees or remedies.
